NYX Giant Glitter Creme Palette!

Ok...Mulain is in loo-ve......am to-tally getting into cosmetic brand NYX.......was with MUs Natasha and Virginia today in New Beauty Centre, Khar checking out some new products and we were shown some the latest ones just in from NY.....Like 'OMG'!!!! Wow....saw the the Giant Glitter Creme Palette and fell...hook, line and sinker....for approx 1500 Rs this palette of 21 creme glitters is yours....a rainbow of glittery delights that you can use for your brides, your events, yourself....just brilliant. There are also smaller glitter palettes also available but just could n't take my eyes off the giant one!!!! So voila...it is now in the fat mu kit and the MUs are taking it on a shoot tomorrow!!!!

Will let you know how we get on with it......Mulain will definitely have a glittery-filled weekend....painting the town...all the colours of that palette....do look out for me my friends...shall be lighting up Bombay! Woo-hoo...

Top tip of the day for you artistes......always, always, always carry a grease palette in your kit. These saviours will help you out in any situation, on any shoot, any bridal make-up, any fashion event...you name it.....Forgot your lip palette? Use your grease palette.....Change of brief? Use your grease palette.....Director suddenly wants a black eye? Use your grease palette...the MUs never leave home without them!

NYX colours galore

A trio of NYX bleu!

Mulain was doing some shopping in New Beauty Centre, Mumbai and checking out all the new products, colours, textures and brands that are out (anything to escape the doom and gloom of the world my friends!)....... Some new international brands are now on display, from all over the world.......Beauty is such a big biz non? A certain USA brand, NYX display caught my eye and I was quite dazzled by the colours I saw.......I took a brave move, jumped mentally out of my comfort zone, and taking on-board Nar's 80s inspired make-up designs for Marc Jacobs - I bought a blue eye-shadow palette and a lovely mosaic - coral / orange blush!

Oh la la.....it's time to experiment and 'ave some fun and give myself a new look - am thinking Abba's Agnetha meets Boy George! Also invested in a NYX invisible mascara to keep my brows in shape. Very excited now in trying out my new palette of coleurs. This is my first time with this brand so let's see how I get on.....quite reasonably priced.... and neat packaging.....watch this space.

We love Bobbi B!

One of my favourite make-up designers Madame Bobbi Brown says "Platinum instantly highlights and gives the face a fresh, modern edge," and Mulain totally agrees. With this in mind, seems she has designed a new selection of summer make-up called The Platinum Collection. Mulain is so tempted to 'op on a plane straight to the beauty hall of Selfridges to check out all these GORGEOUS, to-tally inspiring make-up palettes that 'ave been launched - pops of de-lightful colours from pop to rainbow, from Japanese pop culture to 'The Garden of Eden' - so mu-ch to choose from and so mu-ch fun to be 'ad!

We mu-st find the time to shop! Am off to find my MU's Natasha and Virgine to 'atch a plan.....too much work and no play makes Mulain a dull bull!
