Mulain has LOVE LOVE LOVED the last 2 days in the fat mu academy! Yes it's been non-stop effects and new products to play with. Intro to age-ing was superb! Brit Make-up Artist Karen Teitge aged MU Virginia 10 - 15 years...invisible age-ing ....fantastic! Today was casualty effects. Will be posting Les Albums on FB so you can all see. Thanks for coming all who attended and hope you learned lots, and of course thanks Karen T. Bravo!

Tomorrow is Karen's Hairstyling workshop - morning is a Victorian style and afternoon is 1940s War-time glam.

Today Mulain is congratulating all the MU-ettes from Batch 7 who passed out today! MU-ah! We love ya all and wish you all the best for the future!!! The school is super quiet without you all! We MU-st have a party soooon for all MU-ettes....yay!

So my darlings...fat mu is 5 years old now! Ah Mulain is wishing congrats to all the MUs and MU-ettes...time to celebrate! It seems like only yesterday when Nat and Virg put their little heads together and decided to set up a make-up company! Color Bar Lip Pots!

Mulain spotted these little pots in MU Sunita's make-up kit...nice colour range and good intensity, smell yum and are comfy on the lips...no point having an uncomfortable pout my darlings eh?...The Coral shade is really fresh and loo-verly - lovely on Indian skins...but go to New Beauty Centre and check them out for yourselves....approx Rs. 300....not bad eh?

Well girls and boys...Mulain had super fun last night watching the team in action at the Raffles Design Institute Student Fashion Show. The MUs and MU-ettes were back stage creating their look / design on 24 models. Tricky brief...one look to suit lots of different clothing collections from Traditional Indian to Modern Punk to Brazilian to Disco and more. Plus had to be different to last year's Retro design we did. The team came up with a super duper rocking design which everyone loved...silver glitter down one side of the face, a clean sculpted canvas and a popping, glossy pink pout! Gorgeous and so effective! Don't forget nails too...silver metallic polish on hands and toes!

Explaining the 15 min DIY face-lift....

Mulain thoroughly enjoyed this Saturday's workshop at the fat mu academy...'Face Values'...great fun and so informative. The MUs invited Bharti M who lives in Pune and runs a skincare company called Waterline to give a talk and demo. As all make-up artists know...skincare and prep is essential to our work and also as women it's lovely to look after your skin and feel and look good and healthy. Bharti has so much knowledge to share and is passionate about her philosophy and skincare range. Mulain bought a day cream and night cream plus the best balm in the world as far as I'm concerned...it's truly, truly good! This is a woman who really knows about skin and Mulain is adding her to the fat mu hall of fame.....did I also mention she makes chocolate? Now that's my perfect best friend ;)....

Getting in the MUU'D

Mulain is super excited at the fat mu academy as it's batch 6's final project tomorrow...shoot is on tomorrow! Woo hoo...so prep time is in action...MU-ettes have themes of GOLD / EGYPT / POINTILLISM / CONTRAST / BRIDES / COLOURS...truly excited to see how they do ..will they be as fantastic as the other batches? Mulain is hoping...everything crossed!
