Early morning tattoos....MU Xavier warming up his Reel Palette
Trying out different colours to get a realistic effect.....
Angry young man tattoo....MU Xavier is shooting a TVC this morning and they want to create temporary tattoos on the skin...realistic looking ones. Could have done a transfer but sometimes those don't last all day and start to crack and have that unrealistic shiny film. Not great for close-ups. Also the MUs love to put their own creative stamp on a project so MU Xavier wants to create his own tattoo designs for this job. Bring on the good old Reel Colour Palettes - used by character make-ups the world over - http://www.reelcreations.com/ ...wonderful palettes which let an artist create longlasting effects, where would we be without them? Kryolan have also come up with a similiar palette, the MUs are waiting to try this one out. Will keep you posted!
